Exchange rate on Settlement
Im currently in Timor Leste, a country that works with cash, MasterCard are no longer use and some places will take Visa if you are lucky. I paid in cash and don’t have a bank statement for the payment. I provided exchange rates from 2 different sources for that date both of which stated 1.40 Aus to 1USD. That you are claiming the exchange was only 1.28 Aus on that day is highly unethical. Where you get your exchange rates from? Considering the amount of money I have paid for this insurance from December 2017 with only 1 claim made, some ethical customer service on this issue would be appreciated. Maybe remember I’m unwell in a country with limited medical capacity, exactly why I purchased this insurance. People buy insurance to be covered during such circumstances, not to be exploited for the financial interests of your stakeholders.
