Refused travel delay due to one word difference
Do not use this insurance. We were only going domestic but I felt we should have insurance. Our flight was cancelled by the airline as we were boarding another flight. So I immediately rang the insurance line and explained to them what they had sent us.The lady told us we were covered and to find accommodation and submit a claim.So we did. We found accommodation when we got to Sydney (which was not cheap) but the cheapest we could find as no one had any rooms left. It has now been 4 weeks since I lodged the claim and they rejected it due to one word "Operational reasons". This is why we had insurance. They wouldn't return calls when we rang them stating they would. As operational is not in their wording its not covered. I would never recommend this company
