Easy to apply, hard to claim
It was easy to apply online for insurance including existing medical conditions. Questions I had were answered quickly and efficiently.
I had a simple claim for medical expenses where I was asked for several documents I did not have and were not really relevant. A reference to the complaints team resolved the issue and the claim was paid. Online claims process not very friendly.
Expenses relating to flight delays are very restricted. Only covers accommodation and meals which the airline covers anyway. No cover for things such as having to repurchase tickets for subsequent missed travel.
