Terrible claim service!
I had to cancel my trip due to an illness that needs surgery. Months after taking out travel insurance I became very ill and had to cancel my trip. I got a letter from the doctor that said that my symptoms started well after the date of my policy started and that I am too unwell to travel and need to have surgery. I provided the letter along with all of my cancellation documents and receipts to prove payments. My claim is only $2300 and they are drawing out the process for no reason! They have now asked for my medical records for the past 5 years as if they don’t trust my doctor’s letter or me!! And to make matters worse, they have even prolonged the time it takes to investigate my medical records by not even paying the invoice to receive the report. I’m stressed enough being sick and not being able to go on a holiday that I had planned 12 months ago let alone having to deal with this! It’s been 6 weeks and I’m still waiting, not 10 days like they had indicated it would be dealt within!
