Pet Insurance Was Worth Every Penny!

My beloved Becenji 'Stella' has been insured with Pet Insurance Australia for 3 or so years and February this year was the first time I had to make a claim. Stella had tumors in her breast tissue which needed to be operated on. Thank god I had pet insurance. I had to pay just under $1,000 up front for the vet and medicine bills and was so relieved when I got just under $700 back following my claim.

Once PIA had all the paperwork the claim went through really quickly. When I phoned to check that I had filled out the forms properly, their customer service person was extremely professional and polite. The consultant went over the whole form with me over the phone. The only hold up we had was with our Vet they didn't send some paperwork when they told me they had.

I was glad that I paid extra to have comprehensive + accident cover and she is covered for life. Great health insurance for dogs. I'd highly recommend Pet Insurance Australia.
