After 3 claims, I'm staying

Everybody talks about horror experiences with car insurance, but I've never had any with AAMI. I've had three claims, none of which were my fault. All three required one call to AAMI and then a follow up call from the repairer. That's it! Simple! Not the cheapest in the market, but an a cheap insurer that doesn't pay, isn't cheap.

AAMI does not honour their PDS!

AAMI have denied my insurance claim based on an irrelevant exclusion in their PDS. According to AAMI, they do not cover a stolen car claim if the car was for sale at the time it was stolen! This is co

Claim under review for 11 weeks

Pathetic service. It has been 11 weeks since the claim is made with AAMI and it is still “under review”. It seems they are not interested in actually honoring a claim but have ongoing stalling tactic
