When you need them... AI Insurance will have slithered away as fast as they can.

Please think before you buy. The rates may be less but when you need them, this company will most definitely not be there for you or the people you care about. Similar to other reviews after two years of being an AI customer a tree branch fell on my car. (Neither I or the tree were driving) AI insisted on me providing copies of my license and getting a formal copy of my driving record despite the fact the car was actually parked in my driveway. On my drivers record I had lost my license for two weeks for non-payment of parking fines. The reminders had gone to the wrong address and once SDRO had contacted me I had paid it. This was months beforehand. AI claimed that when this happened I should have advised them and then declined to pay the claim and cancelled my Insurance on the basis of the small print in the PDS. I couldn't drive until I arranged a new insurer. Although I managed to do this easily I'm out of pocket but wiser, hence this warning. Stay away, they are cheap because their business model is to slither away as fast as they can when you need to claim...
