I experienced fuel contamination accident in the petrol station. I got all the details, contact numbers and person of the petrol station, contact nubers and person of the petrol station's insurance broker. I provided the fuel purchased receipt to Allianz and sent the fuel sample to the lab which is nominated by the assessor from Allianz. They informed me that I needed to pay the excess fee first to fix my car. Now I received the email from their recover team that they did not receive the fuel contamination report and they cannot proceed the re cover procedure. And i contacted the lab, they informed me that the report was sitted in their lab with Allianz claim number since three months before when the accident happened. No one from Allianz chased the report. And I contacted the insurance broker of the petrol station, they informed me that no one from Allianz contacted them. Now I need to sort everything out by myself between the garage, the lab and Allianz to get the report. I do not know how long will take me to get the report and then send to Allianz to get them recovered. Now I received the phone call from Allianz, I need to pay for the lab analysis fee first and then hand the report to Allianz to push them to do the job. And I need to find out other cars which also experienced fuel contamination problem. Finally I can get myself recovered to get y excess fee back and to keep my no claim bonus. I don't know what I am paying the insurance for. Giving myself extra work and doing something for Allianz for free. Someone who give a good rate for Allianz, wish you good luck and won't experience any fuel contamination accident. If you were the unlucky guy, you will be f****d.
