Sticking with RACT because . . .

I've been with RACT for several years for my car insurance and found them EXCELLENT to deal with. Straightforward, knowledgeable, polite customer service. Every year I call them when it's time to renew the policy and get a VAST reduction. All you need to do is ask. They want your business! Never mind what's on the paperwork they send out, barter! I got hundreds worth of more coverage simply for asking each year! Also, if you need to make a claim they STREAMLINE the entire process for you. They CALL the people you need to deal with, not you! It's a BREEZE. I recommend them in Tasmania as they are cost effective and hassle free!
