Den Of Thieves

Been with Bupa for almost a year now and up for renewal (will cancel today). We made calls monthly to clarify whether we are indeed covered for ALL COSTS incurred by the Bupa recommended Obstetrician, ( Pregnant) and told we are covered for all costs since its a Bupa recommended Doctor, we now are being told we are NOT COMPLETELY covered.
And it took the doctors secretary to tell us that Bupa most likely avoided answering that question as they have with many of the patients they see. We Will Still be out of Pocket over $2500.00 for Item 16590 and another $700 for the Anaesthetists in their recommended Hospital. Every call made us furious and the answers were usually "I Dont Know" or "Cant answer that".
The Secretary at the Obstetrician recommended we call Medi bank Private.We did and found them easy to deal with and even though they too don't cover Item 16590 completely, they were honest and upfront. But they do cover the Anaesthetists as part of the Pregnancy package.
Avoid Bupa at all cost, Den Of Thieves and Incompetent Staff.
