Would not recommend

Have been a Silver-extras customer with Bupa with silver-extras since 2013 and I would not recommend them.I had previously been with NIB who were fantastic, but was forced away from NIB due to their poor pregnancy cover (hence Bupa). In comparison to NIB, Bupa’s rebates have been very poor value across a number of services.If you join Bupa then expect some text-book insurance company skulduggery in an attempt to avoid paying out legitimate medical item claims. Incorrect item type they say? When you prove the item type is correct then they will come up with something else. And something else again. I even had the staff at a Bupa-Allied physiotherapy centre complain to me that their clients only had issues claiming the benefit on medical items from Bupa.
