Policy Renewal

We have just renewed our home contents policy with Budget Direct. They have increased the value of of home contents by 3.3%, yet they have increased the cost of the policy premium by a massive 18%! Their policy renewals are very misleading, in so much that the policy automatically renews unless you phone them and tell them that you don't wish to renew. They do not advise you before policy renewal what the new premium will be, hence once you have renewed then policy you then receive the new policy details with the over inflated new premium. We are disgusted that Budget Direct do not have the proper business ethics to advise existing policy holders of their new premiums prior to renewing a policy. We will be cancelling all our policies and going else where.
