Do not use!!!

I have been trying to claim for my almost 3 year old cross breed who has been diagnosed with a neurological condition which the specialist vet has told me could not have been diagnosed without an MRI scan and having reviewed her history, my dog hasn't shown any previous symptoms of the condition... RSPCA pet insurance is denying my claims, stating that what she has is a "pre-existing condition" because on the day that my policy was taken out, my dog went to the vet to be treated for back pain (definitely caused when she slipped off my bed and landed ON HER BACK.. resolved quickly with simple pain killers). The condition she has is untreatable and she is currently slowly dying in front of me.. not the best time to be told by the insurance people that they won't pay up for her diagnostic investigations, which cost a small fortune. These are the only claims I have made on her insurance in the past few years, having covered the less expensive stuff myself.. now when I actually need the insurance cover, they are making my life (even more of) a misery. I can't believe the RSPCA would put their name on this product. Still trying to get my claims through.. seriously considering a complaint to the Ombudsman if they continue to reject it. I feel completely ripped off.
