Not the cheapest, but helpful and friendly
I bought an annual multi-trip and had to make a claim last October. I had to jump through the normal hoops in order to submit a claim, which was tiresome but worth it in the end. I had read up on reviews prior to purchasing, so knew that I needed to report theft to authoritiies within 24 hours. But once the paperwork was done, Amex paid up promptly. The customer service was friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest, but when it comes to insurance it's worth paying extra for reputable brand.
