Good service but claims should be quicker
Made claim with Westpac after a break in. The initial process went well and they organised someone to come out and make the property safe on a Friday night, which was great. I eventually got paid out on ALL stolen items, including some for which I didn't have the receipt for. The process did take several months however, as Westpac outsources their assessor services to a private company. The initial assessor never replied to me, but someone else took over and the lady was fairly good. I would have given them a higher score (possibly 9/10) had they kept in touch with me AND streamlined/fast tracked the entire claim process.
