RSPCA do everything possible not to pay, including changing your coverage after a claim to ensure you can't claim again. I joined with $6500 unlimited cover, made a claim for a knee injury for $4200 then they changed my policy to ensure I couldn't claim again and then added 60 percent to my premium. This of course left me stuck because i couldnt shop around, because my pet had a pre existing condition. Basically they told me to accept it drop my insurance all together. Their complaint handling process is convoluted and designed to make you give up. Please take notice of this and go elsewhere for insuring your pet.

Distressing...They didn't give a shi*!

Paid premiums for 2 years. Dog had surgery with complications. 6 weeks later after 4 more surgeries we had to have him put down. Submitted claims only to be told they would not pay as it wasn't an 'em
