Avoiding Allianz - Do not use this company

I can to hospital three days after I fell off an AVT with symptoms that required immediate medical attention. Allianz wanted a report with a diagnosis before they would approve the claim. The problem with that system is how do the doctors diagnose a case without ordering tests. The hospital didn?t want to do the test until they were confident they would be paid. I am 15 hours after coming to hospital and my case still hasn?t been approved. I have sent 5 emails with documents. I friend who I meet only 5 days ago is covering my medical bills while Allianz decides if they will approve my claim. Instead of ring the hospital themselves they are requiring me to gather and upload documents and lease between the doctors and them. Image if I was unconscious. I have many upcoming overseas trips and I will never use this company gain. Another person on the tour had to go to hospital and her claim was approved within 5 minutes with 1 phone call. The group organiser cannot believe the hoops I have had to jump through for Allianz to honour their policy.
