We paid our holiday with our credit card and QBE was the insurer. My husband fell while on holiday in South Africa and we had to change our flights while he was hospitalised. We emailed them as soon as we could and the people from the customer service department were wonderful. We had constant communication and they kept asking if there was anything they could help with even while they were assessing the claim. We just had to pay everything up front while they were still assessing. We submitted all the receipts and documents as soon as we were back in Australia - they paid our full claim less the excess 9 working days after submitting all the documents.
