QBE ARE AWE FULL

We travel overseas usually each year and our travel insurance is covered by our Westpac Altitude Black credit cards.
15 years ago we made a $80,000 claim with no fuss whatsoever I think the underwriter was Zurich.
However last year we had to make a small claim for lost luggage on a Swizz train and QBE made life so difficult. It took endless emails and phone calls to reach a settlement in 5 months!!!. I think the only reason they settled was I said I was informing Westpac of their deliberate incompetence.
Before we next travel overseas I shall ask Westpac who their insurer is. If they are still using QBE i shall take out cover with another company.
