• I had the same experience a few years ago and after a six month battle, they finally paid up. My claim was genuine, I had appropriate medical evidence as requested by them and they tried everything they could think of to justify rejecting my claim. It was only after I sought advice from the Office of Fair Traing and a solicitor, and threatened legal action, they finally reconsidered. I feel sure they only did so after I made it clear that I would not give up.
