Never got ANY response on our claim

We have been purchasing this insurance for years. Recently we submitted our first claim but NEVER got any response. In fact, World Nomads is just an intermediary and as a customer you have absolutely NO channel to contact the direct insurer.
I wrote them multiple customer support emails, they promised to get back but NEVER did.

What’s the point?

Flight delayed twice and stranded between home and our destination. Policy states that deposits and full cost of prepaid expenses are not covered (only new costs). Buyer beware. 3.5

Not recommended, pretty much a scam posing as legitimate

There are two major reasons for travel insurance, missed flights and medical. Lost luggage is an annoyance but you can deal with it. I missed a connecting flight due to my first flight being delay

Both myself (as an official trip leader) and my other leaders used to use and recommend this company - until we needed them. In two separate instances, neither of us were able to get ahold of anyone a
