• Hi Rebecca, thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the cover offered by our policy. We pride ourselves on our customer service and aim to clearly communicate what is covered and what is not covered by our travel insurance. On page 27 of our PDS, it does state that we do not cover costs if your claim relates to the financial collapse of any booking agent, transport, tour or accommodation provider. As outlined in this guide: https://www.comparetravelinsurance.com.au/travel-insurance-tips/does-travel-insurance-cover-insolvency there are very few, perhaps even no travel insurer, that covers you for the collapse of a booking agent. Unfortunately, travel booking agents go bust all too often. As a goodwill gesture, we’d be happy to offer you a discount on any future policy you buy with us, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch when planning your next holiday. Kind regards, Andre, Customer Service

  • I find it absolutely amazing that it is necessary to read the PDS of some 70+ pages before taking out Zoom insurance. Why not simply list the common exclusions up front so other suckers do not get fleeced. If you need 70 + pages for a PDS then there must be something you want to hide. Now we know why travel insurers like most other insurers have such a bad reputation. Nearly as bad as bankers in what they hide.
