Unsatisfied with service.
After applying for 5 months of travel insurance which ran out on 04/05/19. I contacted 1cover on the 05/05/19 and they were unable to extend my comprehensive cover. Reason for contacting late to extend insurance was the time difference between Canada and Australia. Dissappointed there was no leniency, as I was a returning customer.

I'm sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with our service when you contacted us to extend your policy.We are an Australian based company and our policies are issued and run on the date and time within Australia (AEST), once a policy lapses we are unable to extend or alter it.
We do advise any customers who wish to extend to contact us as soon as they know they need to extend or 7 days before your policy is due to expire in order for the extension to be processed before the policy lapses.
Keeping an open dialogue with our customers is how we improve our service, so thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
