Fairly painless
My recent hiking tour in Japan was cancelled due to typhoon Hagibis. A couple of times I had sent emails and staff didn't read them, not scrolling down far enough I guess and then asking me the same thing again. Also I was to provide a letter from Jetstar saying that I received no refund on lost flight. This was impossible, you get nothing out of Jetstar. However, a letter from my travel agent was sufficient, explaining the ticketing process. This was great.
I will go to Japan again next year as the company offered us a good deal for the same hike, hopefully without incident this time. I will surely use your insurance again.
