• This sounds familiar. Exactly the same scenario. I love the fact I was pointed to the clause in the PDS in the Cancellation Costs section that says what they will NOT cover.
    "Benefit 5: Cancellation Costs
    If, due to circumstances outside your control and unforeseeable
    at the time you activated this policy:" then within that section
    "We will not pay for claims caused by:................................
    6. mechanical breakdown of any means of transport"
    So if your travel is disrupted then tough
