There is a common misunderstanding that all cancelled flights, for any reason are covered. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Moreover, this is an industry-wide standard. It is the airline’s responsibility to compensate, reimburse, or find an alternative flight for the traveller – not the insurer. However, please note that we do cover flights that are cancelled due to severe weather or airlines strikes. <br/>
