Helpful and easy to deal with
I have organized travel insurance for my parents for their overseas trip (Russia, Spain) between August & October 2019. This time around was the first time that my parents had to make a claim. My parents were visiting my sister in Spain, & one evening they went for bike ride and my father fell of the bicycle. I contacted Tick insurance from Australia and informed them about what have happened. My father had to go to hospital to have X-rays to make sure that no bones were broken. Luckily it was only bruises and couple of scratches. Tick Insurance sent us the questionnaire that had to be filled in and we also had to supply photos of the injuries. Overall, I am happy how Tick Insurance communicated with me and my sister, and the follow up email to make sure that everything was ok.
I just have one little thing that I'd like to mention. When I made an initial phone call, Insurance representative asked me for my sister's for number, as I was driving at the time I made a mistake in providing a country code (I told 33 (France) instead of 34 for Spain). So, there were few unnecessary emails going back and forth. In my opinion, the operator should have figured it out on their own (common sense!).
Other than that everything was good.
