  • Sounds all too familiar. You have to wonder how many people are out of pocket due to Tick Insurance hiding behind Policy T&Cs. Looks like I'm headed down the court path after 3 months of needless emails saying I need cancellation evidence from agents and hotels who seem to have closed/disappeared.

  • I'm with you Dean. Ripped $840 from pensioners in their late 70's and are ALWAYS SORRY, but their hands are tied. Hide behind normal rules and conditions in abnormal circumstances. All we have left is really bad publicity, including Mitsui Sumitomo. I have been told by Virgin that they can't provide any more information, but not good enough for this crowd.
