• I missed a flight as the plane in Vietnam was broken. Unfortunately, that meant my connecting flight with another airline was missed. Insurer will not compensate for re-booked flight (but I understand now this is the norm). Claim process through Tick was by email (can't recall if started via a portal or not). They did offer to pay for accomodation & food, but airline covered that. Clain took awhile to resolve so patience required, although no $ for me in the end, service seemed ok.
