Massively onerous process
Returned from a trip to find three of four wheels on my suitcase are broken. I’d like to make a claim, but World Nomads wants: a receipt for the suitcase, proof of travel, credit card statement, airline property report, statement of non-repairability and independent supplier’s repair report. This is clearly a process designed to ensure people don’t make claims. My only other experience in making an insurance claim was in 2011 with Alliance and they only needed a photograph of the damage (an iPad that was damaged enroute) based on that they paid replacement cost straight away.
