• Hi Paul,

I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the process when it came to making a claim. We do require proof of ownership of items to support any claim, in some instances we may except bank statements or valuations. If you have not done so yet I would recommend calling our claims team for a chat and they may be able to assist you further.
Keeping an open dialogue with our customers is how we improve our service, so thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

  • I was considering of using these guys... so how do I prove ownership of say some clothes or shoes I bought some time back that I don't have receipt for?

Can I take pictures of my things I pack before the trip... would that be enough to prove ownership in an event of a claim?

    Cheers,

    M.S.

  • Thats the problem. Most of the clothes I took were bought some time back and I don't have receipts, my leather wallet was bought at a market for cash, the Antler case was bought with cash ( yes I know cash is old fashioned). My snorkelling gear is several yrs old to. I don't have receipts or proof of ownership of anything I took except my phone. Hardly worth taking out insurance except for injury.
