• Hi Belinda, thank you for your review. Travel insurance covers the rental vehicle excess, not the actual car, regardless of the company or the location that you are renting the vehicle. They may not recognise 1Cover, however if you damage the car, you pay the excess amount to the Rental Company and then lodge your claim with us, and we reimburse your costs.   • I understand you must’ve found this frustrating but it seems to me that this is a problem with the car hire company not 1cover.
