I was lucky enough to win a competition at a travel expo in 2010 and earn $500 of insurance from Downunder Insurance. I've since gotten a policy from them for a European trip and also for an upcoming New Zealand trip, and both times they have been extremely fast, friendly and professional. I've never had to wait more then a day for a reply to an email, and organising a policy has been fast and hassle free. A big thank you to them!

Do Not Use

Avoid at all cost. Paid for interstate travel insurance purely on the intention for a hire car as it stated covered damages of $3000. Had to lodge a claim to the fee of $2800 and they only covered $21

Dishonest

While using DU for travel insurance interstate my main interest was the rental car coverage stating covering damages of up to $3000Sadly had to make a claim. Another vehicle scratched into our car whi
