Slow response

We emailed Wise Traveller if we could change our flight due my sister-in-law passed. Got an auto reply and referred us to Allianz which was slow to respond. We waited but the date for us to change our flight has passed and we didn't get the chance to attend the memorial. We could have changed our flight but don't want to take a chance to spend $2K worth without knowing if we would be compensated.
