Well informed.
After hearing of Zoom through a friend who actually had made a claim when his wife got extremely sick on their holiday, I knew that they have a the ability to work directly with an international hospital while you are there.I have made a claim before while overseas. When I contacted the insurer, I felt very fobbed off. Basically I found it hard to actually get to speak with the insurer that I had over the phone. When your sitting in a international hospital and they won’t proceed with treatment until payment is made, you want to speak to a human, not send an email and hope.I was extremely happy with the details Zoom sent to me as soon as the policy was completed. It gave me all contact details an information if something were to happen while away.Having this and knowing was a great piece of mind for me as I never wanted to be left high and dry in our time of need ever again. As my friend said when he referred me, I’ll never go a different travel insurer again.
