Car Hire Excess claim process was surprisingly clean and excellent

Over the last couple of years I have used the Car Hire Excess component of Zoom Insurance every time I've hired a car, including a planned trip to ADL in Jun'20 that due to COVID-19 was cancelled by providers, as it is an excellent competitive option to going direct with a hire car company; I have never had to make a claim previously until this one for my MCY Dec'19'Jan'20 trip where I expected claim difficulties but there was NONE - thankyou.
